The variation exchanges these two sentences:
'propterea tria mihi proposui scilicet pro peccatorum suorum remissione intercedere et pro beneficiis iam receptis Deo gratias agere, et pro novis obtinendis ad earum'
'quibus secundum Deum sunt agende gratie, per quos petende sunt excusationes ob peccata multa, quae commissa sunt huccusque a talibus familiis, et non solu[u]nt recepta innumerabilia beneficia, et per quos sperande sunt varie gratie ac beneficia quibus nunc indigent, et posthac indigebunt'.
The first option 'Propterea...earum' discusses interceding to God for the forgiveness of sins, and giving thanks to God for the benevolence they received from him. The second option 'quibus...indigebunt' reverses the order of the first sentence. It begins with thanking God since he forgave their sins when the asked for indulgence, and gave them the benevolence for which they longed.ù
Therefore, the meanings are very similar, but the emphasis is placed in a different part of the process.
