These two verbs are spelled similarly, and have related meanings, so this is likely a transcription error. 'Evellat' means he tears out while 'elevet' means he lifts, raises.
I believe that 'elevet' is a more proper translation in the context, although both could work. The sentence 'Da operam tu, ut Dominus te elevet a locis inimicorum tuorum' reads Pay attention, since the Lord lifts you from the places of your enemies.
