Probably a transcription error since these words have different meanings. 'Pluris' means more and 'pure' means pure, clean. Both could word in the context (towards more spiritual things OR towards pure, spiritual things). However, I think the correct choice is 'pluris' since 'pure' and 'res' don't agree grammatically.
