'Loculis' and 'Oculis' differ by one letter, but differ in meaning. 'Prae oculis' means before the eyes and 'Loculis' means in the satchels, compartments. Both are possible in the context' the writer is either saying that they have Christ before our eyes, or in their pocketbooks.
This manuscript is the size of a small book that could be carried in a satchel.
