Albrecht von Bayern asks Robert Leiber S.J. to forward a letter to Giovanni Montini; he seeks in his trip to Latin America possibilities for German refugees from Czechoslovakia and Silesia; but he also senses the misery of other German refugees from the "Russian zone," Poland, Hungary, Yugoslavia, etc.  He hopes to find through the mediation of the Holy See Catholic benefactors to secure travel and the beginning of a new life for these refugees.
