Summary: Kircher opens this chapter by saying that a full understanding of the special privilege that Mary has among all of creation, and accordingly, Kircher delves straight into the theology. Before the creation of the world, God already chose Mary to be the Mother of God so that, born of her flesh, Christ unites fully his humanity and divinity: so intimate is the bond between the Holy Mother and the Son that nothing stand between them. Notably, Kircher frames his Mariology in a Trinitarian construction, a nuance lost in this summary.

§.III
De Admirabilis Matris excellentia supra
omnes puras creaturas cord-intimus
conceptus, et existimatio.

Quicumque intimus Deiparae servus esse desiderat, is ante
intellectum longe superent; utpote in qua ditanda
exornandaque ab aeterna sacrosancta, et Adoranda Trinitas
ut ita dicam, elaborasse videatur. Quid enim purae creaturae
altius, glorosius, admirabilius contingere poterit, quam
ut caelestis Pater eam privilegio, nulli alteri concesso, in
suam susceperit filiam; aeterni Patris consubstatialis filius
eam in Matrem; Spiritus Sanctus in suam omnibus gratiarum,
ac charismatum donis cumulatam, sponsam elegerit;
doctus asseruit: Tu, O Maria ante omnem Creaturam
in monte Dei praeordinata fuisti, ut omnium mulierum
purissima, Dei ipsum ex carne tua procreares: uti
mentem, ita ante omnia quoque in Mariam suos
reflexit eodem inquam, aeternitatis momento, in
nullum inter Christum et Mariam interstiterit medium;
eodem instanti quo Deus homo fieri decreverat, eodem et
matrem quoque elegerit, ex cujus carne nasceretur Deus,
factus homo. Nam ut recte Philosophi ratiocinatur: Esse
videlicet in mente omnium creatarum rerum rationes
