Calandrelli goes on to describe summarily the observations of Donati, Dembowski, the astronomers of the Pulkovo Observatory, the astronomers of the Reale Museo di fisica e storia naturale di Firenze, and himself regarding this Saturnian phenomenon. He asks for Secchi's take on these varying perspectives and concludes by mentioning a note that he has ready to send to Christian August Friedrich Peters.
