Summary: After finishing his theological explanation of devotion´s metaphysical benefits, Kircher transistions to the practical consequences of Marian devotion: dedicated to loving the Blessed Virgin, Marian devotees express their devotion through good deeds in the world, aiding the poor and building new shrines for the faciliatition of their and other´s worship to God. In the following paragraph, Kircher changes his focus to the name of Mary, which seemingly bears divine significance for him. All the defining qualities of the Virgin Mary (the omen from God, her importance in history, her place among the heavens, and so on) is embodied, in some part, within the name of Mary so that its invocation calls upon some of that power. Kircher elaborates on this theme in the following page.
