Abstract | Calandrelli thanks Secchi for his report since he had read the principal pieces of it in the Giornale di Roma but was in need of the notes. He states that he is beginning work on the astronomical part - ostensibly of the same phenomenon detailed in Secchi's report. In this vein, he writes of observations and calculations he has gathered regarding the phenomenon and questions that have arisen from these. He mentions that he will look to develop these questions with astronomers and continue his calculations. In closing, he writes that he will eventually be in Rome - at which time he and Secchi can discuss other things in person. |
