Abstract	Calandrelli mentions an unnamed comet - situated in the Aries constellation - that appears close to the horizon shortly after sunset. With data from Karl Christian Bruhns, Calandrelli calculates its position for the 2nd of April. He then asks what work Secchi has already done on it so that he can decide what to do with his findings. Moreover, he sends along an opened letter from Paolo Frisiani sent to him by Francesco Carlini by way of Giuseppe Greppi. The letter ends with brief remarks on some ongoing mechanical work and an expressed desire to do something together during the holy week.
