Abstract Calandrelli writes about being asked by Francesco Carlini to find for him in Rome the essay "de menstrua solis parallaxi" written by Giuseppe Maria Asclepi. Calandrelli believes it will be easy to find at the Collegio Romano. He writes that were he to find it and were it to be short, he would have Secchi copy it - as was done for others of Asclepi's works that Barnaba Oriani desired. Calandrelli concludes by saying that he and Secchi will see each other the next day at the Accademia Pontificia dei Nuovi Lincei.
