Federico Stella
Federico Stella has started to collaborate with GATE since March 2017 within the Lazio regional project Torno Subito. Under the supervision of Laurent Basanese S.J., director of the Gregorian Centre of Interreligious Studies, he transcribed and annotated several documents (a booklet and several letters) written in Latin and Italian regarding Baldassarre Loyola Mandes S.J. (1631-1667). The authors of these writings are Baldassarre himself, Domenico Brunacci S.J, Muḥammad Bulghayth al-Darawī and Agostino Sesti. Stella has further recognized the survived Arabic documents in order to find the sources of those letters Baldassarre and Bulghayth have translated into Italian.
