The first stage of inventory and cataloguing of a series of documents relating to the history of the Roman College in the nineteenth century has been concluded. These sources, little considered by research concerning the history of the Society of Jesus, allow us to consider the period of time that Reinhardt Koselleck called Sattelzeit: namely, the evolution from the early modern age to modernity between about 1750 and 1850.
