Eduardo Rodríguez (1815 - 1881) was a spanish engineer from the Professional Schools of Paris. He became a professor of Physics at the Conservatory of Arts and Cosmography at the Central University of Madrid and a full member of the Royal Academy of Exact, Physical, and Natural Sciences. He was awarded in an extraordinary public competition for his Manual of General and Applied Physics to Agriculture and Industry (1858). He was also the author of an Instruction on lightning rods (1869). He passed away on June 21, 1881.
