| Abstract | Johann Georg Kuler writes to Athanasius Kircher as an old friend, describing how he was forced to leave his beloved Jesuit order due to illness. He asks Kircher to receive a youth from a noble family in Nürnberg, who bears this letter, in order that he may see Kircher’s wonderful galleries, and commends the youth’s worthiness. Kuler states that he plans to reside in Köln until he can hopefully regain his health and rejoin the society. |
