Father Antonio de Padilla (1554–1611) entered the Society of Jesus on 8 March 1572 and took his final vows in Medina del Campo on 18 February 1590. He was rector of the colleges of Valladolid and Salamanca. He passed away on 28 November 1611. Sommervogel reports several sermons and theological treatises that remain in manuscript, including contributions on the controversies on grace.[1]
