CORONA CAESARUM non tantum, sed et frater et filius fuit;
Verbo: virtutum omnium MILLEFOLIUM,
at mihi AMARANTHUS hic tantum amaroris legavit,
ut felle occubuisse nil dubitatem.
Doloris in me spinae haereditatem rosae fatis ostendunt,
caduca magnae spei folia fidei commissum.
Decidit denique flos, in eoque spes nostra.
Ite porro ( SUB ROSA haec loquor) spes humanae,
et in folio, quod vento rapitur,
castella somniando fabricate!
