Justus Calvinus (Wetter (Hessen), May 1572 - Mainz (?), 1616-21) studied and then taught Calvinist theology at Heidelberg. Upon his conversion to Catholicism, he travelled to Rome where he was baptised by Cesare Baronio, taking the latter's name. He became a skilled Catholic controversialist. His year and place of death, however, are not known.[1]
