Remarks	The letter has been collected by Le Bachelet and Tromp, but has no text. The trancription only reports "a propos de l’election d’un procureur du chapitre” and as source "Archiv. Postul. Simple résumé". This is the first of a list of letters all addressed to officials in Capua (principally the dean and chapter) summarized on a small page entitled 'Lettere di Bellarmino': Roma, ARSI, Archivio della Postulazione Generale (Santi), 495. The full summary reads: 'Al Sig. decano Pompeo Pellegrino che nell'elettione del notare si pigli il meglio. 26 Agost. 1602.'
