Abstract | Aguilar writes to Father Secchi, expressing regret for a delay in acknowledging a package from Rome sent in August. He shares the unfortunate news of the passing of his beloved daughter in August, and how her mother suffered greatly but is now recovering. He mentions his interest in Mr. Marquez's work on the eclipse and expresses caution about sending eclipse photographs due to concerns over reliability. Aguilar also promises to send an annual report and a discussion from two collegues in the next courier and conveys greetings from friends in Madrid, thanking Secchi for the books sent earlier. |
