In alto a sinistra si legge "inseratur folio 317. tomo III", riferito al volume terzo dell'edizione del 1654 dell'opera 'Oedipus Aegyptiacus' di Athanasius Kircher. L'incisione precede la sezione degli obelischi Monticelio, Mediceo e Mauteo, che si trova a pagina 317 dell'opera citata.
