Abstract	Calandrelli writes that he is sending to Secchi the work that he hopes to soon present to the Pope. In this vein, he implores Secchi to review various parts of the work. Then, Calandrelli recounts some events revolving around an astronomical instrument - events which caused him great worry and which tangentially involved Secchi and Professore Scarpellini. Calandrelli concludes with the current status of these happenings followed by his standard formalities.
