Mallinckrodt, Pauline von: Minden, 3 giugno 1817 – Paderborn, 30 aprile 1881. Religiosa tedesca, fondatrice (Paderborn, 1849) della Congregazione delle Suore della Carità Cristiana (Schwestern der christlichen Liebe), dedita all'istruzione dei ciechi, all'educazione femminile e all'assistenza; l'opera, quasi annientata dal Kulturkampf, si diffuse in Belgio, Stati Uniti, Cile e Boemia. Sorella del politico Hermann von Mallinckrodt. Causa di beatificazione introdotta nel 1958; venerabile nel 1983, beatificata da Giovanni Paolo II il 14 aprile 1985.<br />
