| Abstract
|
Cornaeus first writes to Kircher about the difficulties he and others have in combatting the satrical polemics of the heretics and tries to justify using the same tactics against them, citing Plautus's Curculio, IV.II. In the second half of the letter, Cornaeus asks Kircher for permission to write and publish opinons that may contradict the censure of the Congregation.
